Kanye West Reveals Annie Leibovitz Backed Out The Day Before Wedding

Although the couple spent months planning their elaborate nuptials in Florence the famed photog, (who shot the couple for their very first ‘Vogue’ cover), backed out of shooting their wedding the DAY before — and Kanye admits it majorly pissed off Kim!
Can you imagine if, just one day before your special wedding day your photographer cancelled on you? Well, that’s exactly what happened to Kimye!Kanye West, 37, spoke at the Cannes Lions Festival on June 17 in Cannes, France, where he shared a last minute mishap that happened right before the famous couple said “I Do.” Apparently it took the duo FOUR days to release their first official wedding photo because they wanted it to look exactly like Annie Leibovitz‘s photos, even though the photog backed out of shooting the ceremony just a day before — and Kanye’s new bride, Kim Kardashian, was not happy about the process.

“I’ll tell you a little story about the kiss photo that my girl put up,” Kanye revealed. “We – and this was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon. She was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out of the wedding, because I think she was scared of the idea of celebrity.”
Although Annie backed out of shooting the couple, their first official wedding photo, (which was released on May 27), was still stunning. “But because Annie pulled out, I was like, ‘I still want my wedding photos to look like Annie Leibovitz’s photos,’ and we sat there and worked on that photo for four days – because the flowers were off-color and stuff like that,” he shared.
Kanye admits that he’s a perfectionist — even when it comes to creating the perfect Instagram! “Can you imagine telling someone who wants to just Instagram a photo, who’s the number one person on Instagram, ‘We need to work on the color of the flower wall,’ or the idea that it’s a Givenchy dress, and it’s not about the name Givenchy, it’s about the talent that is Riccardo Tisci – and how important Kim is to the internet,” he explained.
Well, it certainly looks like all the hard work paid off — the image has received over 2 million links and more than 35,000 comments. “And the fact the number one most-liked photo [on Instagram] has a kind of aesthetic was a win for what the mission is, which is raising the palette.”

Although she backed out of capturing their nuptials, she did shoot the couple for their Voguecover and shoot – I wonder what made her cancel on the couple.
