Olivia Palermo marries Johannes Huebl in Carolina Herrera

Confusion over - Olivia Palermo really has married model Johannes Huebl.
The stylish socialite, 28, confirmed the nuptials, which took place on Saturday, June 28 in Bedford, New York, by posting a series of happy photographs from the occassion on her official website.
The wedding comes just days after it was claimed the couple had married secretly in New York on June 21 as German Huebl's visa was about the run out.
Shooting down those rumors, the couple posted two glamorous photos and a short article describing their special day.
Palermo took an original approach to bridalwear, sporting a pair of cream shorts with a full tulle skirt overlay that "cinched at the waist in layers of satin and silk and featured a high slit in the front with floral details along the hem", both by Carolina Herrera. She paired the unusual bottom half with a plain cream cashmere sweater. She kept her accessories suitably ecclectic, sporting stud earrings by Alexandra Mor and a bracelet bought while visiting Jodhpur, India.
29-year-old Huebl, meanwhile, complimented her perfectly in a white, bespoke Marc Anthony Hamburg suit.
"I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived pony tail, one of my favorite personal looks," said Palermo of her beauty look.
Both made sure they had their traditional something blue - Palermo with a pair of deep blue Manolo Blahnik heels and Huebl with a navy Charvet tie and navy Etro pocket square.

"We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside," said Palermo of the small celebration.

5. Adopt a More Casual Look
If planning a beach or destination wedding, there’s no need to go all out with a wedding dress. Check the clearance racks and even consider a cocktail dress (maybe one with a bit of color). Any dress can be fancied up with a colorful sash or even a pretty crocheted vest or shrug. I mention this because I recently featured a shoot that showcased an $8 dress from Target on clearance. It could easily work for a bride that wanted to wear a dress in a pastel color. It looked beautiful with a crocheted vest over it.”
6. Ditch the Tuxedo
“For the guys, consider suits instead of full-blown tuxes. You can get a ton of mileage out of a good suit, and stores like J. Crew and Banana Republic sell them for not-so-staggering prices.”
7. Go In as a Group

“Many of the major tuxedo stores will offer a group discount, and often the groom will get his tux for free with a certain number of groomsmen rentals. Be sure to ask about these discounts before ordering. Also, associates will add all accessories at the time of rental (cufflinks, pocket squares, shoes), but not all of them may be required for rental. Ask if anything can be removed. Your groomsmen might all have their own black shoes and can save money by not renting them.”

Kim Kardashian, 33, sported a completely backless top while shopping in Calabasas on June 23, but that wasn’t event the shocking part! Kim displayed her bra in a not so subtle way. Kim wore a white long-sleeved crop top with a form-fitting pencil skirt and strappy heels. The all-white ensemble looked ordinary from the front, but the back view caused a double take! It seems that the star purposely flaunted her white bra while on a shopping trip. While Kim made an edgy statement and looked amazing flaunting her curves, we aren’t totally on board with the visible strap.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star definitely could have worn something less eye-catching. A bralette with a thicker, lacier band would have made the look more deliberate rather than revealing the clasp of her bra. Even an adhesive backless bra would have made us love the outfit more. The look could have easily been toned down a bit with the right apparel — and considering this hot mama is a pro at showing off sexy looks we were surprised she flashed her bra!
Kim Kardashian Flashes Bra:
Typically flashing your bra can be very sloppy, but perhaps Kim was hoping to start a new trend — after all, the look did seem a bit Carrie Bradshaw. If she is trying to make it work, it isn’t our favorite!
Not only did the bra draw our attention to her back, but the cut of the undergarment wasn’t completely flattering on Kim’s figure — it didn’t do her any favors in this instance.
Kim almost always dresses her shape so well, and she has access to tons of designer garments, so this doesn’t make a lot of sense to us.

Even though we aren’t on board with the visible bra, Kim did look gorgeous while wearing her hair down and parted in the middle. What do you think? Did Kim’s fashion risk totally pay off or was it a major miss?

19th Annual Maui Wedding Expo, June 21

The Maui Wedding Association presents its 19th Annual Maui Wedding Expo on Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa in Kāʻanapali.
The event is free and open to the public with entertainment, wedding fashion shows, cake tasting, and door prizes planned throughout the day.
“We are very excited that the Sheraton Maui is hosting this year’s Maui Wedding Expo,” said Tambara Garrick, sales manager for Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Hawaiʻi and current president of the Maui Wedding Association.
“From coordinators and photographers to venues and caterers, you will find everything you need to plan your dream wedding at the Maui Wedding Expo — whether you are kamaʻāina or planning a destination wedding,” she said.
Garrick said the mission of the Maui Wedding Association is to bring together businesses to promote the advancement of the Maui wedding industry.
The 2014 event features top wedding vendors on Maui including: wedding coordinators, photographers, videographers, florists, ministers, officiants, catering, cake companies, restaurants, musicians, entertainment, venue representatives, limo companies, transportation options, bridal clothing, tuxedos, beauty selections, spa offers, travel and lodging packages, specialty products and services, rental equipment and wedding publications.
In addition to the ideas offered to individuals planning a wedding, vendors also gain professional growth through education and the sharing of ideas at the event.

The following tips are offered by the Maui Wedding Association for visitors to the upcoming Wedding Expo:
Dress comfortably: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. You’ll be doing a lot of walking.
Bring pre-addressed mailing labels: including your name, address, phone number, wedding date, and email so you won’t need to fill out different forms at every vendor table you visit.
Bring a camera: to take photos of the exhibitor booths and the showcase room.
Bring a notepad and pen: In addition to taking notes, you may want to have some way to organize the business cards and brochures you collect during the expo.
Collect everything at the show: You may not know that you’ll need it later.
Catch the fashion show and listen to the entertainment: and take notes of attire and entertainment you like.
Bring a tote bag: in case the one provided is not large enough or sturdy enough for you.
Bring money: to purchase snacks and beverages.
Take your time: It can be overwhelming to see more than 40 booths and speak to the vendors. Pace yourself to stay excited and avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa’s parking structure will be available for self parking during the event at $1 for every 3 hours with expo validation. The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa will also be providing property tours during the event.

Kanye West Reveals Annie Leibovitz Backed Out The Day Before Wedding

Although the couple spent months planning their elaborate nuptials in Florence the famed photog, (who shot the couple for their very first ‘Vogue’ cover), backed out of shooting their wedding the DAY before — and Kanye admits it majorly pissed off Kim!
Can you imagine if, just one day before your special wedding day your photographer cancelled on you? Well, that’s exactly what happened to Kimye!Kanye West, 37, spoke at the Cannes Lions Festival on June 17 in Cannes, France, where he shared a last minute mishap that happened right before the famous couple said “I Do.” Apparently it took the duo FOUR days to release their first official wedding photo because they wanted it to look exactly like Annie Leibovitz‘s photos, even though the photog backed out of shooting the ceremony just a day before — and Kanye’s new bride, Kim Kardashian, was not happy about the process.

“I’ll tell you a little story about the kiss photo that my girl put up,” Kanye revealed. “We – and this was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon. She was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out of the wedding, because I think she was scared of the idea of celebrity.”
Although Annie backed out of shooting the couple, their first official wedding photo, (which was released on May 27), was still stunning. “But because Annie pulled out, I was like, ‘I still want my wedding photos to look like Annie Leibovitz’s photos,’ and we sat there and worked on that photo for four days – because the flowers were off-color and stuff like that,” he shared.
Kanye admits that he’s a perfectionist — even when it comes to creating the perfect Instagram! “Can you imagine telling someone who wants to just Instagram a photo, who’s the number one person on Instagram, ‘We need to work on the color of the flower wall,’ or the idea that it’s a Givenchy dress, and it’s not about the name Givenchy, it’s about the talent that is Riccardo Tisci – and how important Kim is to the internet,” he explained.
Well, it certainly looks like all the hard work paid off — the image has received over 2 million links and more than 35,000 comments. “And the fact the number one most-liked photo [on Instagram] has a kind of aesthetic was a win for what the mission is, which is raising the palette.”

Although she backed out of capturing their nuptials, she did shoot the couple for their Voguecover and shoot – I wonder what made her cancel on the couple.
