The 28-year-old actress married musician James Righton in France last year and much has been made of the Chanel outfit she wore. The dress was an old favourite of the star's, although designer Karl Lagerfeld created a new jacket for her.
She's proud she didn't splash out mega bucks on a wedding gown, although she won't pressurise any children she has to do the same.
Keira had worn her short frock many times before her big day and has donned it since then too. Unfortunately one of those times resulted in red wine being flung all over the nude piece - something she is philosophical about.
"I didn't quite realise the extent of it until I got home. It's quite impressively splattered," she laughed. "But, hey, a good night is a good night and when a dress has had its time, maybe it's had its time. I'm pretty sure I can get it out but, if I can't, I'm happy with the memory of a good night and the story of how the dress got destroyed."
Keira's mother is a playwright and her dad is an actor. She asked for an agent when she was just three, although she admits she didn't really know what one was at that point.
"Everyone in the house seemed to have one, so I thought I should too," she giggled.
When she was six she began winning roles and her parents realised they could use her love of acting to their advantage. Keira has dyslexia and found school hard, so they promised that if she kept studying hard they would let her audition for roles.
Having dyslexia made the star want to strive for success, although recently her priorities have shifted.
"[I was] very single-minded. I'm feeling rather a lack of it [being single-minded] now. It's not there as much, which isn't because I think I've achieved everything I want to. It's just because life changes. I'm looking at life around me, at other sh*t," she explained.
